RULES

1.    The following rules (“Specific Rules”) together with the general competition terms and conditions (which can be found at (https://www.capitalfm.com/terms-conditions/competition/) (the “Competition Terms and Conditions”) of Global (as defined in the Competition Terms and Conditions) apply to ‘Capital Yorkshire radio competition (the “Competition") which will run from Wednesday 7th August 2019 to Sunday 18th August 2019 on Capital Yorkshire (the "Radio Station").

2.    Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have read and accepted the Specific Rules and Competition Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them.

To enter for the on-air  win:

3.    To enter the Competition an Entrant must go online to www.capitalfm.com/ and register their details. Online entry will open at 00:00 on Wednesday 7th August 2019 and close at 12:00 on Monday 12th August 2019.

4.    All entrants must answer the multiple-choice question and fill out the required details.

5.    One on air  winner will be chosen at random from all the correct and eligible entries up until 12:00 on Monday 12th August 2019.

6.    The  winner will be called by the presenter and told that they have won. This call will be recorded and will be played out during Heart Breakfast from 14th to 16th August 2019.

7.    If the caller fails to answer a return call from Global, is driving at the time of the call and is unable to pull over or cannot continue the call for any reason the call may be terminated and another Entrant selected at random.
 
To enter for the online win:

8.    Entrants must go to www.capitalfm.com/ and register their details and answer the question. Online entry opens at 00:00 on Wednesday 7th August 2019 and closes at 23:59 on Sunday 18th August 2019.

9.    One entrant will be selected at random from all correct entries received.

10.  The winner of the on-air  win will not be eligible to win the online competition. 

11.  The winner will be contacted by Capital with details on how to redeem their prize.

Eligibility:

12.  All entrants must be 18 years or over.

13.  Entry is restricted to one entry per person; duplicate entries will be excluded from the Competition.

Prize:

14.  Two winners (one on air winner and one online winner) will each receive a York Dungeon package for four people which includes:

  • Four tickets to The York Dungeon

  • Overnight stay for four in York

  • A Night out in York

15.  The York Dungeon is not suitable for under 5s and is not recommended for those of a nervous disposition or under 8 years old.

16.  The tickets will be sent to the winner direct from The York Dungeon. They must be used within 12 months from the point of the win.

17.  The overnight stay and night out will be given to the winner as cash to the value of £500 paid directly into the winner’s bank account via BACS. With this the winner can make their own accommodation and night out arrangements. Bank name, account number and sort code will need to be provided for the prize money to be paid. Money will be in the winners bank account within 28 days of winning.

18.  Full prize redemption will be discussed with the winner.

29.  Global & Merlin Entertainments PLC reserve the right to substitute the prize with another prize at its absolute discretion
