The "Radio Station" is Capital Network.

2.    Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have understood these Rules along with the Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them. The Terms and Conditions are available on request from the Radio Station.

Details of the Competition:
3.    There will be 2 competition rounds per day Monday – Wednesday & a minimum of 2 competition rounds on Thursday.

4.    To enter the Competition an Entrant must send a text message as instructed by the presenter beginning with the word WIN to 83958 (the “Text Message Line”). Text messages will be charged at standard network rates. The opening and closing times of the Text Message Line will be given out on air.

5.    Before the competition begins, the order of the pack of cards will be chosen at random and this order will remain throughout the whole competition without any further shuffling or re-ordering. Joker cards have been removed from the pack.

6.    In the first competition on Monday 23rd September, listeners will hear the presenter announce a value of the first playing card (e.g. 5 of Clubs). We will then invite Capital listeners to text to play the game by texting WIN to 83958 for their chance to play.

7.    An entrant will be chosen at random from the entries & then brought to air to tell the presenter whether they think the next card to be turned over is higher or lower than the first card. In the case of the card being an ace, contestants/potential entrants will be informed that in this game, aces are high.

8.    The presenter will then reveal the actual value of the next card.  If the contestant has predicted correctly, then they will come back to play in the next round, either later that evening or the following day.

9.    If the contestant guesses incorrectly, then they lose and we start the next competition round either later that evening or the next day with a new contestant recruited by text chosen at random, as above.

10.    If when the card is turned over the value is the same as the previous card (e.g. 2 x fives, 2 x Kings, etc), then we would immediately turn over another card to determine whether the contestant pays on, as above.

11.    The rest of the competition will proceed as above with a winner either staying on or being replaced each time as a result of an incorrect guess.

12.    The winner of the Las Vegas prize will be the person who wins in the second competition round on Thursday evening – the final competition round.

13.    In the event that the player of the final 8th competition round gets the answer wrong, another player would be brought to-air who could come in and steal the prize.  This will continue until a contestant gets the answer correct and wins the prize.
