Capital FM: Lawson

Lawson Competition on Capital FM, September 2013

1.    The following rules (“Rules”) together with Global Radio’s ("Global Radio") general and competition terms and conditions (the “Terms and Conditions”) which can be found at http://www.capitalfm.com/terms-conditions/competition apply to the Lawson radio competition ("the Competition") which will run on Friday 13th September (“the Duration”). The "Radio Station" is Capital FM (The Competition will run on: Capital London, Capital Birmingham, Capital Manchester, Capital Yorkshire, Capital South Coast, Capital East Midlands, Capital Scotland).

2.    Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have understood these Rules along with the Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them. The Terms and Conditions are available on request from the Radio Station.

Details of the Competition:
3.    The competition will run on selected Capital Stations (as outlined above in clause 1) between 06:00 and 10:00 on Friday 13th September.

4.    To Enter the Competition, an Entrant must text the studio with a keyword plus their answer to a question given out on air.  The keyword will be given out on air. The text message number given out on air by the presenter (the “Text Message Line”). Text messages will be charged at standard network rates.

5.    The opening and closing times of the Text Message Line will be given out on air.

6.    The presenter on air will state for which Lawson concert venue and date listeners are playing for before the Text Message Line opens.

7.    On each station, one Entrant will be selected at random from all correct, eligible Entries and brought to air to give their answer to the question. If they give the correct answer on air, they will be awarded the Prize. The Entrant will be notified on air that they have won.

8.    The winner will be required to answer their phone, talk to the presenter/s and a call will be recorded with the presenter/s and played on-air. If the caller doesn’t answer their phone, is driving at the time of the call and is unable to pull over, or cannot continue the call for any reason, the call may be terminated and another entrant selected at random.
 
Eligibility:
9.    Entrants must be 16 years of age or older.

10.    Entry is restricted to one entry per person; duplicate entries will be removed.

Prize:
11.    There will be 1x Prize to be won on each participating Radio Station (as outlined in Clause 1)

12.    Each Prize will consist of 1x pair of tickets to see Lawson perform, plus entry for two people to a meet & greet session with Lawson on the day of the concert. The presenter will inform winners on air as to which venue and date they have won tickets for.

12.1    The winner on Capital London will receive 1x pair of tickets to see Lawson perform, plus entry to a meet and greet session with Lawson on 12/10/13 at the London Roundhouse.

12.2    The winner on Capital Birmingham will receive 1x pair of tickets to see Lawson perform, plus entry to a meet and greet session with Lawson on 15/10/13 at the O2 Academy Birmingham.

12.3    The winner on Capital Manchester will receive 1x pair of tickets to see Lawson perform, plus entry to a meet and greet session with Lawson on 16/10/13 at the O2 Apollo Manchester.

12.4    The winner on Capital Yorkshire will receive 1x pair of tickets to see Lawson perform, plus entry to a meet and greet session with Lawson on 30/09/13 at the Doncaster Dome.

12.5    The winner on Capital South Coast will receive 1x pair of tickets to see Lawson perform, plus entry to a meet and greet session with Lawson on 11/10/13 at the Bournemouth BIC Solent Hall.

12.6    The winner on Capital East Midlands will receive 1x pair of tickets to see Lawson perform, plus entry to a meet and greet session with Lawson on 02/10/13 at the Leicester De Montfort Hall.

12.7    The winner on Capital Scotland will receive 1x pair of tickets to see Lawson perform, plus entry to a meet and greet session with Lawson on 09/10/13 at the O2 Academy Glasgow.

13.    Entry to the meet & greet session is for the winner and a guest. The guest must be the same guest using the ticket for the concert.

14.    Tickets to the concert will be posted to the winner’s address by recorded delivery within 28 days of the Competition closing (but before the concert date).

15.    A Global Radio representative will contact winners to confirm details of the meet & greet - including times and location - at a time nearer to the concert date.

16.    Global Radio reserves the right to substitute the prize, or any element of the prize at any time.

17.    The Prize is not transferable, and cannot be exchanged for an alternative prize, including cash.

18.    Travel and accommodation is not included in the prize.

19.    In the event of a concert or meet & greet being cancelled or postponed, the supply of alternative prizes will be at the discretion of the concert Promoter.

20.    All concert venues the right to exercise their door policies, for which Global Radio is not responsible.
