Terms and conditions for The Capital Jingle Bell Ball with Morrisons, November - December 2014.

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas Video Upload 2014 on Capital FM, November and December 2014

 

RULES

  1. The following rules (“Specific Rules”) together the general competition terms and conditions (which can be found at http://www.capitalfm.com/terms-conditions/ (the “ Competition Terms and Conditions”) of Global (as defined in the Competition Terms and Conditions apply to the It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas Video Upload 2014 radio competition (the “Competition") which will run from 18th November 2014 to 3rd December 2014 on Capital Network (the “Radio Station”).
  2. Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have read and accepted the Specific Rules and the Competition Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them. 

 

Details of the Competition:

  1. To enter the Competition an Entrant must:

Go online to www.capitalfm.com and take part in the Capital FM Jingle Bell Ball video upload competition by uploading a video of themselves singing along to the Union J single ‘It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas’.

 

Or visit a Morrisons Video Booth and take part in their video upload competition by uploading a video of them selves singing along to the Union J single ‘It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas’.  Dates and locations of the video booth activity can be found here: http://promo.capitalradio.co.uk/jingle-bell-ball/

 

 

They must then register their details and submit their entry form.

 

Online entry will open at 17:15 on Tuesday 18th November and close at 11.00am on Wednesday 3rd December.

 

  1. The Winner will be picked at random from all eligible Entrants and contacted by Global Radio on phone on Wednesday 3rd December 2014.
  2. The Winner will be contacted within 24 hours of the competition closing using the details provided at the point of entry. The winner must claim their prize by 11am on Thursday 4th December, if they do not answer they will forfeit the prize and another winner will be selected at random. If the personal details provided when entering are incorrect, the entry will be considered invalid and a new winner will be selected at random.

 

By submitting a video www.capitalfm.com to the Radio Station you: Capital FM warrant that you control all copyright and all other rights (including, without limitation, performers’ rights) in and to such video; and confirm the grant by you to the Radio Station [and Global Radio] of a worldwide, perpetual, royalty free licence in the copyright and all other rights in and to the video (including, without limitation, performers’ rights) and you waive any moral rights and like rights you have in relation to the video; so that the Radio Station [and Global Radio] shall be entitled to use the video in any and all media at no cost to the Radio Station [and Global Radio] and such use shall not infringe the rights of any third party.

 

Eligibility:

  1. Any winner under 15 years of age must be accompanied by an adult or a legal guardian aged 18 or over.
  2. Multiple entries are permitted up to a maximum of 10 entries; any additional entries above this limit will be excluded from the Competition.

 

Prize:

The winner will receive:

  • 1 x pair of tickets for Capital’s Jingle Bell Ball on Saturday 6th December 2014
  • Under 15s will not be admitted to the venue unless accompanied by an adult over 18
  • Capital Jingle Bell Ball 2014 Backstage Tour.  
  • One meet and greet with Union J

 

 

 

Prize Terms and Conditions: 

 

  1. The prize will consist of a pair of tickets to Capital’s Jingle Bell Ball 2014 on Saturday December 6th 2014 at The O2, London.
  2. The prize does not include travel. The winner must meet the cost of this. 
  3. It is the winner’s responsibility to get to the venue in time for the event. Global Radio is not responsible if the winner is refused entry to the venue due to being late or in breach of the venues admission terms and conditions.
  4. An adult must accompany anyone under 15 years of age. 
  5. CCTV and film cameras may be present at the Venue. Being present at the event means you consent to filming and sound recording, which may include you as a member of the audience and its use in commercial distribution without payment or copyright.

 

  1. All persons who wish to gain access to the Event must have a valid Ticket.
  2. Neither the Ticket Holder nor any other person is entitled to assign, donate, transfer or otherwise dispose of any rights arising from the Ticket, or the Ticket itself, to any third party, including, without limitation, if the transferee does or intends to:
(a) sell, resell, expose, offer or make available for sale, auction, donate or otherwise dispose of Ticket(s) in any manner or place whatsoever, including, without limitation, online via an online auction website; and/or
(b) transfer or use such rights or a Ticket as part of or for any unauthorised:
(c) advertising, sales or promotional purposes;
(d) premium give-away, competition, prize draw or sweepstake; or
(e) hospitality or travel package.
  3. Global Radio reserves the right to change the line up of the event and substitute any part of the prize at any time.
  4. The prize does not include food or refreshments. The winner must cover the cost of this. 
  5. Meet and Greet with Union J can happen at any point during the Jingle Bell Ball.
  6. Agree that he or she is subject to these Conditions and to the Venue Conditions.
  7. Global Radio reserves the right to change or amend these rules at any time.
