RULES
The following rules (“Rules”) together with Global Radio’s ("Global Radio") general and competition terms and conditions (the “Terms and Conditions”) (which can be found at http://www.capitalfm.com/terms-conditions/competition/ apply to the ‘Summertime Ball Network Trigger track’ radio competition ("the Competition") which will run on Friday 8th June (“the Duration”). The "Radio Stations" are: The Capital Network (Capital Scotland, Capital North East, Capital Yorkshire, Capital Manchester, Capital East Midlands, Capital South Wales, Capital Birmingham, Capital South Coast and Capital London)
Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have understood these Rules along with the Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them. The Terms and Conditions are available on request from the Radio Station.
1) Details of the Competition
1.1 To enter the Competition an Entrant must:
Send a text message with the keyword to 83958 (the “Text Message Line”). Text messages will be charged at standard network rates. The keyword and the opening of the Text Message Line will be given out on air and will be open for the duration of the chosen song given on air.
1.2 Once the text lines have closed a winner will be selected at random and called back. A call will be recorded with the winner and played out on air.
1.3 Winners will be selected at random. All entrants will be required to talk to the presenter/s and a call will be recorded with the presenter/s and played on-air. If entrants fail to answer their phone or if any fault occurs immediately prior to or during these calls and it is not possible to re-establish contact with the caller, another contestant will be selected at random.
1.4 Competition rounds will take place between the hours of 6am and 11pm during contest dates. There will be a minimum of three competitions rounds each day for the duration of the competition.
1.5 There is only one entry per mobile number, per round of the competition. Entrants may participate in as many rounds of the competition as they wish. Therefore they may enter every round, but for each round they enter only one text message per mobile number will go into the draw. Multiple entries from any one mobile number in any one round will be excluded, leaving just one entry per number in the draw.
2) Eligibility
2.1.1 Entrants must be aged 18 years or over.
3) Prize
3.1 The prize will consist of a pair of Golden Circle standing tickets to the Summertime Ball at Wembley stadium in London on Saturday 9th June 2012
3.2 It is the winner’s responsibility to get to the venue in time for the event.
3.3 These terms and conditions (“Conditions”) and the terms and conditions of the Wembley Stadium (the “Venue Conditions”) apply to any and all Tickets (“Tickets”) to The Summertime Ball 2012 due to be held at Wembley Stadium, London on 9th June 2012 (the “Event”).
3.3 By being present at the Event you consent to being filmed and/or recorded. You also agree not to assert any moral (or similar) rights and give all necessary consents under the Copyright Designs and Patents Act 1988 (as amended) and all other applicable legislation in respect of any film and/or recordings. Please note that BAL is entitled to make full use of any film and/or recording in all current and future media worldwide without any liability or payment to you, including permitting others to do the same.
3.4 Any person who purchases, holds or uses a Ticket (“Ticket Holder”) acknowledges and agrees that he or she is subject to these Conditions and to the Venue Conditions.
3.5 If a Ticket is declared void or if a Ticket Holder is refused admission to or removed from the Event because of a breach of these Conditions or of the Venue Conditions, no money shall be refunded to the Ticket Holder.
3.9 All persons who wish to gain access to the Event must have a valid Ticket.
4,0 Neither the Ticket Holder nor any other person is entitled to assign, donate, transfer or otherwise dispose of any rights arising from the Ticket, or the Ticket itself, to any third party, including, without limitation, if the transferee does or intends to:
(a) sell, resell, expose, offer or make available for sale, auction, donate or otherwise dispose of Ticket(s) in any manner or place whatsoever, including, without limitation, online via an online auction website; and/or
(b) transfer or use such rights or a Ticket as part of or for any unauthorised:
(i) advertising, sales or promotional purposes;
(ii) premium give-away, competition, prize draw or sweepstake; or
(iii) hospitality or travel package.
4.1 In the event of a conflict between the Conditions and the Venue Conditions, the Conditions shall prevail.
4.2 Global Radio reserves the right to change the line up of the event and substitute any part of the prize at any time.
4.3 Travel and accommodation are not included in this prize.
4.4 Global Radio reserves the right to change or amend these rules at any time.
