Calling all punters, it's time to jump for joy as the Jump season kicks off at Chepstow Racecourse on Saturday 13th October.
The first raceday of the season is 'All about the Horse' with a fantastic days racing attracting all the big names and a parade of champion horse from Paul Nicholl's stable.
‘All About The Horse' raceday is themed around a fantastic booklet by Love The Races and aimed at giving people a better understanding of horseracing.
Visitors will have the chance to meet a racehorse, enjoy a pony ride, learn the tricks of the trade from a farrier and even have a go on a racehorse simulator to experience some of the challenges faced by a jockey!

As well as a great afternoon racing the 'All about the Horse Raceday' is a great way for novices to the sport to get in the know.
Meet a racehorse, learn the tricks of the trade from a farrier, enjoy a pony ride and if you think you've got what it takes to be a jockey ... be put through your paces on a racehorse simulator to see what it's really like to ride a racehorse.
There's 7 races over the afternoon with starters orders for the first race at 1.55pm and heading for the finishing line with the last race at 5.20pm.
