Festival Summer In Cardiff

Cardiff Festival is back for 2013, with a summer chock full of amazing street theatre, live music, family entertainment and lots of sporting events going on throughout the city centre and bay.

And Capital will be right in the middle of all the action.

Life’s going to be a beach at Roald Dahl Plass, as it's transformed into an urban beach.

Cardiff Bay Beach supported by First Choice will include a giant child-friendly beach, a shallow water play area, live music and entertainment from local music and dance groups and traditional seaside rides and stalls.

For the more energetic amongst us, the beach will also have goalposts and volleyball nets for beach soccer and beach volleyball tournaments. And if beach sports aren't your scene why not relax on a deckchair under our giant parasols. So get your sunglasses and sun cream at the ready for summer in the city in Cardiff Bay.
