British Cycling National Championships

Cyclists on the road

This year, the National Championships is coming to Monmouthshire.

Picture this: one weekend, every year, the stage is set for the world’s best cyclists to return to their home countries and battle it out for the most exclusive road race titles in their nation.

From 26th to 29th June, the best of British Cycling will fight it out on the roads of Monmouthshire for the top prize – the coveted national jersey. And you can be a part of it.

You can catch the Capital Street Stars there on Saturday 28th June supporting you along the way with Cheerzones, refresh stations and Capitals Summer Lounge.

Watch

If you’d rather watch the stars battle it out, why not come along to one of the many spectator points and see who crosses the finish line first. Will Bradley Wiggins take this year’s title?

Bring the family

This really is for all the family and the Bike Bash @ Bailey Park will keep everyone entertained (28th and 29th June). There's live music; a tiny tots sportive; the best local food stands; a chance to decorate your bike and join the pedal powered parade and more. You can also watch the action from the roads on the big screens. The best bit? It’s FREE entry.

Come and join in at Monmouthshire. It will be a weekend to remember.
