Rougemont School
Rougemont School is Gwent’s only independent day school for boys and girls from 3 to 18 years.
Located on the outskirts of Newport in 50 acres of grounds, Rougemont offers pupils a strong academic and social grounding with first class teaching and small class sizes ensuring individual attention for all pupils.
Their before and after school care from 8:00am to 6:00pm is ideal for working parents and ensures pupils are safe and secure on the School site. They also offer an extensive School Bus network with more than 50 pick-up points across South East Wales, including Cardiff and Chepstow.
Rougemont offers competitive monthly fees with Nursery places from just £20 per half day session. School fees are payable by direct debit at no extra cost to parents.
Rainbows Nursery, the Infants’ and Junior Schools are all self-contained units. Rainbows Nursery and the Infants are housed in a modern, state-of-the-art building, while the Junior School’s home, in the beautiful Llantarnam Hall, preserves the feel of a traditional prep. school. Facilities for Senior and 6th Form pupils are outstanding with a brand new Science and Technology building and newly renovated 6th Form Common Room and Café. A fully equipped Drama Studio, purpose built Astro Turf and tennis courts make up the impressive facilities on offer to pupils at Rougemont.
