Calling All Year 10 Students

If you're thinking about what to do post school at 16, then head to City College Southampton this Tuesday 25th June to join the Capital Street Stars and get a real taste of college life. 

If you or someone you know is currently in Year 10 come along to their open evening on Tuesday night, you can find out everything you need to know about all the exceptional vocational and academic courses there, including A levels and apprenticeships, .

Check out all the options for a successful future - for work and university, see all the fantastic facilities, meet the tutors, have a go at taster activities and even get the chance to win an iPad3!

It all kicks off from 5pm until 7:30pm and of course there will be students on hand to tell you all about the social side and how the College has supported and helped them achieve their goals. 

Bring your parents or your mates and there's free parking available for the event at their car park on Chapel Road, with overflow parking after 5pm in the churchyard.

If you don't have time for tea don't worry as the on site cafés and student refectory will be open all evening, serving hot and cold food and snacks and drinks, perfect to refuel after taking in loads of information.

And as learner success rates at the college are classed as 'outstanding' and put the college in the top 5 per cent of colleges in the UK for success rates plus a 'good' rating by by Ofsted, with some outstanding features - what are you waiting for!
