Teenager Charged After School Pupil, 12, Hurt In Alleged Assault

A teenager has been charged after a 12-year-old boy was allegedly assaulted at a school in Aberdeenshire.
The boy was treated for a head injury following the incident at a secondary school at around 8.20am on Tuesday.
He was treated by ambulance crew at the scene and did not need to go to hospital.
Police said that a 16-year-old boy has been charged and will be reported to the Youth Justice Management Unit.
Sergeant Craig Johnstone said: "This was a contained incident between pupils at the school, which officers quickly attended.
"A 16-year-old boy has been charged and will be reported to the Youth Justice Management Unit."
