Terms and Conditions for Kenny Atkinson cooking at Your Gaff for Global's Make Some Noise
GLOBAL’S MAKE SOME NOISE TEXT TO WIN & DONATE TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. The following rules (“Rules”) together with Global Charities ("Global Charities") general and competition terms and conditions (the “Terms and Conditions”) (which can be found at www.makesomenoise.com/terms-conditions/ ) apply to the ‘Global’s Make Some Noise Text Competitions’ ("the Competition") which will run from 06:00 on 3rd October 2016 – 7.30am on 7th October 2016 (“the Duration”).
2. The "Radio Station" advertising the competition is Capital North East and Heart North East.
3. Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have understood these Rules along with the Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them. The Terms and Conditions are available on request from Global Charities.
Details of the Competition:
4. To enter the Competition an Entrant must send a text message with the word FOOD to one of the following radio stations Shortcodes, either Capital North East’s 83958 or Heart North East’s 82122 (the “Text Message Line”). Text messages will be charged at standard network rate. If you text after the closing time you will not be entered but may still be charged. The Text Message Line will open at 6am on October 3rd 2016 (the “Opening Time”) and close at 7.30am on 7th October 2016 (the “Closing Time”).
5. After entering the Competition, participants will receive a bounceback text message informing them that a voluntary donation to Global’s Make Some Noise (registered charity 1091657 (England & Wales) & SC041475 (Scotland)) of £3 will be taken automatically an hour (60 minutes) after the time the first text was received, unless they reply with the word STOP. The £3 donation will be taken from the mobile phone used to enter the Competition and 100% of the donation will go to Global’s Make Some Noise.
6. For the avoidance of doubt, you do not need to donate in order to be eligible for entry to the competition. Anyone who replies STOP to the first bounceback message and thereby opts out of donating £3 to Global’s Make Some Noise will still be included in the prize draw.
7. After the compettion closes at 7.30am, a random draw will take place of all eligible entries received between the Opening Time and the Closing Time to determine the winner. All winners will be required to talk to the presenter/s and a call will be recorded with the presenter/s and played on-air. If the entrant fails to answer their phone, are driving, or if any fault occurs immediately prior to or during these calls and it is not possible to re-establish contact with the caller, another contestant will be selected at random. The producer’s decision is final.

8. You must be over 18 to enter the Competition.
9. You can enter up to 10 times, however you must text STOP after each entry to opt out of donating £3 to Global’s Make Some Noise.
Prize:
11. The prize consists of:
Michelin starred chef, Kenny Atkinson going to the home of the winner to prepare and cook a meal for up to 4 people (including the winner).
Kenny will be joined by the Breakfast show presenters who will act as serving staff for the evening.
Kenny will also bring the House Of Tides sommelier, who will provide a glass of wine for each guest to accompany each course. There will be 3 courses.
12. No substitute prizes or cash alternatives are available.
13. The prize is non transferable.
14. FULL PRIZE TERMS & CONDITIONS
The winners house must be within the North East (defined by NE, SR, TS, DL and DH postcode areas only).
- This prize must be delivered within a mutually agreeable date between the winner and Kenny Atkinson - although these will not be able to happen on a Saturday, Sunday or Monday and are subject to availability. Prize will also be unavailable between 7th – 14th of November 2016 / 10th December 2016 – 10th January 2017
- Prize must be used within 1 year of winning and bookings will be made on a mutually agreeable date between the winner and Kenny Atkinson subject to availability
- The date of the prize must be arranged within 3 months of winning.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Severe dietary requirements may lead to changes to the prize, please advise us at the earliest opportunity so we can work to find a suitable menu
- The prize is for a fixed number of guests (as detailed in these Ts & Cs).
- Winner must have a working kitchen with either a gas or electric oven that consists of oven and hobs.
- Winner must have refrigeration space available - we would ask that you cleared your fridge the day before the meal to ensure there is sufficient space for storage.
- Global Staff would need to carry out a visit prior to the evening to take pictures of the kitchen in order for Kenny to plan the event.
- Kenny will not attend a commercial business and the winner must be a private residence.
AGE RESTRICTIONS
- At least one member of the party must be over the age of 18.
- Alcohol will only be available for people over 18, please be prepared to show ID on the night to avoid disappointment.
- The content of the prize may be subject to change and/or substituted with a prize of equal or greater value.
- In the event of unforeseen circumstances, we reserve the right to change the date and substitute with another date.
- We require the winners name, contact number, postal address & email to facilitate the prize.
- Not for resale, not transferable, there is no cash alternative. This is a charity auction and as such no refunds are given.
14. This prize is only available to residential addresses and not commercial businesses.
