"She's like my sister."
Jacob Elordi has opened up about his relationship with Zendaya for the first time. The actors grew incredibly close while working together on Euphoria, which has been renewed for season 2.
Basically, Jacob and Zendaya have seemingly been spending a lot of time with each other in recent months. In September, they were spotted holidaying in Greece together and The Kissing Booth star attended Zendaya's 23rd birthday. And most recently, Zendaya was introduced to Jacob's parents in his native Australia. Both were there for the GQ Men of the Year Awards, where Zendaya was awarded Woman of the Year and Jacob won TV Actor of the Year.

As you can imagine, going on a holiday together and meeting the parents is a pretty big deal. So, the rumour mill went into overdrive and everyone assumed they were secretly dating. However, Jacob has now confirmed that it's definitely not what we think.
"She's like my sister," he said in an interview with GQ Australia. "Zendaya is an amazing creative, you know? She’s super dope to work with. She’s an incredible artist and a very caring person to all of us. But we’re all really close. There is not one weak link in that show. We’ve spent so much time together and everyone is just so cool to work with."
Well, there you have it Zacob/Jendaya shippers. It's not a thing.

Zendaya wasn't the only Euphoria cast member Jacob raved about, though, he also heaped praise on Euphoria's "genius" creator Sam Levinson and transgender actress Hunter Schafer.

"It is really nice that as a result of your work, maybe some kids can watch that show and feel like they’re a little bit more at home, that there’s people like them," he said of Hunter's casting. "That’s really important because I think that when I was a teenager I would have been looking for the same kind of thing, if I could relate to a character."
