And you can meet the entire cast too!
The return of 13 Reasons Why is nearly upon us and Netflix are inviting fans to apply for an advanced screening of second season this weekend.
An ad on 1iota is offering lucky fans a chance to watch the second season in its entirety over three days, starting this Friday, in Los Angeles. Then fans will be invited to be part of an audience with the cast to ask them questions about the season for a follow-up show called Beyond The Reasons.
The full announcement says:
"Calling all super-fans of the popular Netflix show, 13 Reasons Why! Sign up for this exclusive opportunity to see an advanced screening of the second season before the show is released.
You will also be part of the studio audience for a filmed panel discussion featuring 13 Reasons Why cast members and show producers - as well as experts on the issues the show addresses. Come with all of your questions for the cast members and experts, because you could get the opportunity to ask your question on-camera.
All attendees must be at least 18 years old. Screening and studio audience taping will occur over a three-day period. Attendees must be available to attend all three days. NOTE: all fans must attend ALL three dates listed above. Times will vary each day."
Tickets for the event cost $65 and are limited to two tickets per purchase.
Beyond The Reasons previously aired after the last season of the show and featured interviews with the actors and executive producer Selena Gomez about the issues discussed in the show.
Netflix received a fair amount of backlash after the last season for not using trigger warnings about the graphic rape and suicide scenes featured in the show. Yesterday, Netflix announced that a content warning with cast members Dylan Minnette, Katherine Langford, Justin Prentice and Alisha Boe will air before the show. The video also links to a database for teens seeking help and provides a discussion guide to accompany the series. You can watch the video below.
