Get ready for your new supernatural obsession.
The CW has picked up a brand new series called Legacies and fans of The Vampire Diaries and The Originals are going to love it.
You may have found it difficult to say goodbye to The Vampire Diaries and now The Originals, but the supernatural legacy of series creator Julie Plec lives on.
Legacies has been picked up by the CW alongside the Roswell and Charmed reboots and will centre around Hope Mikaelson (Klause and Hayley's magical daughter) as well as Alaric Saltzman's twins from The Vampire Diaries.
They will attend The Salvatore School For The Young And Gifted (quite a legacy, eh Stefan and Damon?) alongside other witches, werewolves, and vampires.
The official synopsis has us wondering just what kind of supernatural shenanigans our faves will be getting into.
Legacies: A spinoff of The Vampire Diaries and The Originals from Julie Plec, this is the story of the next generation of supernatural beings at The Salvatore School for the Young and Gifted. Attending the school? Klaus and Hayley's daughter Hope Mikaelson, Alaric Saltzman's twins, Lizzie and Josie, and other young adults. Will these young witches, vampires and werewolves become the heroes they want to be—or the villains they were born to be?
Yeah, this sounds juicy!
The good news keeps on coming. Matt Davis will reprise his role as Alaric Saltzman, as will Danielle Rose Russell as Hope Mikaelson. Aria Shahghasemi is back as Landon and, who knows, there may be other familiar faces for fans to look out for once the series drops on the CW.
Knowing how protective Klaus and Hayley are, we wouldn't be surprised if one or both of them made an appearance at the supernatural boarding school.
