Watch the trailer for Netflix’s Too Hot To Handle
Too Hot To Handle is Netflix's newest dating show, which sees 14 singles get to know each other while holidaying in Mexico as they try to meet their dream partner while competing for a prize of $100,000. But there's one catch - no intimacy allowed.
If there is one show that Netflix has cast perfectly, it's the newest dating competition in their brood, Too Hot to Handle. And while we spend the next six months following their every move on social media, everyone has noticed something a little peculiar - they've all been seen somewhere before.
From a rival dating show alumnus to the ex girlfriend of one of the biggest recording artists in the world, it would seem that the cast, including Harry Jowsey, Francesca Farago and Matthew 'Jesus' Smith all have far more colourful pasts than we first thought.

But where do we know them from? It's time to take a closer look...
Matthew 'Jesus' Smith
Matthew Smith, who quickly became known as Jesus for his long, flowing locks, has believe it or not, actually played Jesus in a movie.
The 30-year-old who became a voice of reason in the villa for his zen-like outlook on life and ability to abstain from the intimacy that would cost the group prize money was cast as the lord and saviour himself in a short movie called The Commissioning, once filming had ended .
But, being the perfect samaritan and playing arguably the biggest historical figure of all time isn't where his talents end - he's also had a run-in with the other power high above - Tyra Banks.
That's right America's Next Top Model fans, Jesus was in the 2014 season of the modelling competition sporting considerably shorter hair (and lack-of facial hair) as he battled to become the next big face of fashion. Unfortunately, he placed 10th after being eliminated, however, his career as an influencer has pretty much blown up since then.
Harry Jowsey
23-year-old Harry Jowsey was arguably the show's largest personality (and the pioneer of "naughty little possums"), but just one year before Too Hot to Handle was filmed, he appeared on New Zealand's answer to Love Island, Heartbreak Island, in 2018 with then-girlfriend Georgia Bryers...and won $100,000.
Although they broke up pretty much as soon as the show was over, or, the day the finale aired to be exact, Harry split the prize money with Georgia, which they won by competing in challenges against other couples and winning over the public, all while living on an island in Fiji.
Francesca Farago
Pre-Too Hot to Handle, Francesca already had a cool line of brand deals over on her Instagram where she was already slowly gaining her influencer status, and she's reportedly had some A-List links too.
According to The Sun, Francesca used to date top DJ Diplo, and even has his name tattooed on the inside of her mouth - but she hasn't given anything away about that, apart from that they used to share a DJ booth.
She's also been spotted on Instagram with controversial influencer Dan Bilzerian, who frequently hangs out with the model crowd on his collection of yachts and private jets. Not too shabby.
Lydia Clyma
Brit girl Lydia was a late addition to the show, but still left with a lasting connection with fellow contestant David. However, it's not the only TV connection that the 23-year-old has had, as she's appeared on not one, but two shows...and even been proposed to.
The actress and model appeared on reality show Ibiza Weekender, where leading rep Jordan Davies proposed to her as soon as she walked in. That's how you do compliments.
However, despite her brief moment of glory, she then went on to appear on E4's Sex Clinic, where she was forced to get an STI test on TV. Nice.
Unfortunately her relationship with David from her stint on the Netflix dating show was short-lived, however, there are rumours that she's now got something going on with fellow contestant Bryce, who she started getting to know post-filming. Keep your eyes peeled.
Season two, you got a lot to live up to.
