Tom Holland and Robert Pattinson star in Netflix’s The Devil All The Time
Tom Holland in a thriller? HERE WE GO.
Tom Holland fans, Robert Pattinson fans, fans of dark thrillers in general... your time has come. Netflix have just dropped the first trailer for The Devil All The Time, which is set to drop on the streaming platform on September 16th.
The film, written and directed by Antonio Campos, has a cast list jam packed with huge stars including Tom Holland, Robert Pattinson, Bill Skarsgård, Riley Keough, Jason Clarke, Sebastian Stan, Eliza Scanlen, Mia Wasikowska, Harry Melling and Haley Bennett.
Tom's Avengers co-star Chris Evans was originally cast as the sheriff, but was then replaced by Sebastian Stan.
Watch the intense trailer at the top of the page, which features Tom Holland rocking a '90s Leo DiCaprio hairstyle.
The official synopsis for the movie reads: "In Knockemstiff, Ohio and its neighbouring backwoods, sinister characters — an unholy preacher (Robert Pattinson), twisted couple (Jason Clarke and Riley Keough), and crooked sheriff (Sebastian Stan) — converge around young Arvin Russell (Tom Holland) as he fights the evil forces that threaten him and his family."
"Spanning the time between World War II and the Vietnam war, director Antonio Campos’ THE DEVIL ALL THE TIME renders a seductive and horrific landscape that pits the just against the corrupted."
The film is an adaptation of Donald Ray Pollock’s 2011 novel, which already has a ton of rave reviews. Readers have called it "extremely dark and disturbing" as well as "gritty and downright dirty".
Can't wait, tbh.
