My Chemical Romance's Frank Iero just sent the purest video message to Aidan Gallagher

Will Frank and Number Five from The Umbrella Academy ever unite in real life? It's looking likely!

The Umbrella Academy has given us many great things. Another iconic Robert Sheehan superhero character. Kate Walsh in red heels and another random wig. It has also given us even more reasons to stan and worship Gerard Way.

But the most important thing that The Umbrella Academy has blessed us with is the unlikely friendship between Aidan Gallagher, who plays Number Five, and My Chemical Romance guitarist Frank Iero.

Way, the creator of the comic books, recently revealed that much of The Umbrella Academy - including the dynamic between the Hargreeves siblings - was inspired by his time with MCR. While none of the characters are explicit copies of his band mates, fans have drawn comparisons between Five (Gallagher) and guitarist and legend Iero.

In fact, the internet is so convinced and obsessed by Five's likeness to Frank, they're even campaigning for Gerard to name Five after his bandmate. Following the Twitter discussion about Five's real name, Frank caught wind of the convo and weighed in, saying it would be an honour if Gerard named Five after him.

Aidan freaked out when he saw that Frank responded and later tweeted him to say thanks. Theeeeeen Frank responded to him with what can only be described as the cutest video message of all time.

In the video sent on Twitter, Frank asks his daughter Cherry about the show Nicky, Ricky, Dicky and Dawn. (Aidan, in case you didn't know, played Nicky on the show.) Frank name drops him and then mentions that he's also in "daddy's friend Gerard's show" (crying @ this!) before telling his daughter that Aidan is "super psyched" that her dad knows who he is. She then asks why, to which Frank responds: "'CAUSE I'M COOL!"

Aidan then responded to the video with LITERALLY THE PUREST TWEET OF ALL TIME asking if he could meet Frank's kids and cook them vegan spaghetti. My heart! Can't cope!

Obviously, everyone is absolutely losing it over the interaction...
