Jacob Elordi and Joey King no longer follow each other on Instagram...
It's no secret that The Kissing Booth was one of the biggest films of 2018. When it debuted on Netflix last May, viewers from all around the world immediately became obsessed with it. The hit teen rom-com tells the story of two best friends, Elle and Lee, whose friendship gets tested when Elle falls in love with Lee's older brother, Noah. In fact, The Kissing Booth was so successful that it's now getting a sequel.
The Kissing Booth 2 is officially coming to Netflix
However, it's not just the plot of The Kissing Booth that got people so invested in it last year. Fans of the movie also couldn't get enough of its cast. Joey King (Elle), Jacob Elordi (Noah) and Joel Courtney (Lee) are all brilliant in their own rights. Not to mention, Joey and Jacob fell in love on set of the film and captivated fans with their irl romance. Unfortunately, it now looks like Joey and Jacob have split.
Have Jacob Elordi and Joey King split up?
Yes. Romance is dead. It does indeed look like our faves Jacob Elordi and Joey King have broken up. Eagle eyed fans have noticed that the two stars no longer follow each other on Instagram. Not only that, but Jacob actually deleted all of his past Instagram photos at the start of the year and Joey also appears to have deleted the majority of their photos as a couple on the app. I'm crying.
Jacob and Joey also haven't been photographed together since September, 2018.
The evidence.
The two stars are yet to make any official statement on whether or not they're still together but, given the circumstances, we think that it's pretty likely that they've parted ways. Luckily fans of Jacob and Joey won't have to wait too long to see them together again though. Yesterday, Netflix confirmed that The Kissing Booth 2 is coming soon and both Jacob and Joey will be in it.
In the meantime, fans can watch Joey in The Act on Hulu in March and Jacob in Euphoria on HBO later this year.
