Joey King and Joel Courtney reveal The Kissing Booth 2 release date
Elle and Noah's long-distance relationship will be put to the test in The Kissing Booth 2.
The Kissing Booth fans, we finally have an answer on when the long-awaited sequel to Netflix's record breaking teen rom-com will be released...
In a live announcement video with Joey King, it's now been confirmed that The Kissing Booth 2 will be released on Friday July 24th.
Sitting down to reveal the big date via a strategically planned out puzzle reveal, Joey called upon her cast mates Joel Courtney, Jacob Elordi, Meganne Young, Maisie Richardson-Sellers and Taylor Zahkar Perez to help out.
The plot of the film sounds like it'll be pretty similar to Beth Reekles' follow-up novel The Kissing Booth 2: Going The Distance. And uh, things aren't going to be as smooth sailing for Elle and Noah as we all hoped.

According to the synopsis of the book, Noah and Elle's relationship is about to get 10 times more complicated thanks to their new long distance status:
"Elle Evans seems to have finally tamed hotter-than-hot bad boy Noah Flynn, but now they're facing a new challenge. Noah's 3,000 miles away at Harvard, which means they're officially a long-distance couple - and it's tough.
"After all, there's only so much texts and calls can satisfy - and when Elle sees a post which suggests Noah's getting friendly with someone else, she's devastated. On top of that, it's hard to ignore new boy Levi. He's gentle, sweet, cute - and definitely interested in Elle. With her heart on the line, what's a girl to do?"
Joining Joey, Joel and Jacob for the film sequel are Maisie Richardson-Sellers and Taylor Perez, who are playing the new characters who end up putting a bit of a strain on Noah and Elle's long-distance relationship.
Maisie plays Chloe Winthrop, a worldy, whipsmart, sassy, charismatic student at Harvard who becomes best friends with Noah. And Taylor plays Marco Peña, Elle and Lee's musical new classmate. He develops a close relationship with Elle while Noah is away at college.
