The Invisible Man restaurant scene is being hailed as one of the most spine-chilling on-screen moments in recent cinema.
Not only is The Invisible Man being called one of the scariest movies ever but viewers are losing it over the restaurant scene.
Last month (Feb 28), The Invisible Man was released in cinemas worldwide. The terrifying thriller is an adaptation of the 1897 novel of the same name. The film tells the gripping story of Cecelia (Elisabeth Moss), who learns that her abusive boyfriend, Adrian (Oliver Jackson-Cohen), has taken his life, only to find out later that he might have faked his death to stalk her.

If that weren't terrifying enough, Cecelia believes that Adrian has figured out a way to be invisible and the film follows her as she tries to persuade those around her that Adrian is alive and invisible. Like all iconic horror movies, The Invisible Man has its fair share of spine-chilling scenes and fans can't stop talking about how petrifying the restaurant scene is.
During the film, Cecilia struggles to convince her sister, Emily (Harriet Dyer), that Adrian is not dead. Adrian then sends Emily an email from Cecelia's account claiming that she never wants to see her again and Emily breaks off all contact with Cecilia. Cecelia later goes to Adrian's house, finds an invisible suit there and gets Emily to agree to meet her to discuss it.
Cecelia arranges to meet Emily in a restaurant to ensure that she's safe and Adrian can't attack either of them. However, her plan backfires. During the meal, Cecelia and Emily see a knife float in the air. It then slices Cecelia's throat and it's clear that Adrian did it in his invisible suit. However, he places the knife in Cecelia's hand so that it looks like she killed Emily.
The scene is equally shocking and terrifying and people have been tweeting about it ever since the film came out. One person wrote: "It's been a month since I saw THE INVISIBLE MAN and I'm still coming to terms with that restaurant scene." Another fan also tweeted: "I think that’s the best scene in a suspense movie ever tbh".
