Psychological thriller The Ex-Wife is soon set to hit our screens, as the first original drama commissioned in the UK by streaming giant Paramount+.
Based on the book by Jess Ryder of the same name, the series follows the story of Tasha, whose life gets turned upside down when her husband’s ex-wife refuses to stay away from the family.
Things turn dramatic quickly however when she returns home one day to find her husband and child missing without a trace.

What happens in The Ex-Wife?
As previously mentioned, The Ex-Wife is based on a novel, but for its TV adaption it’ll be a four-part series. Having been compared to Gone Girl and Girl On The Train means we can expect to see plenty of twists and turns. When Tasha finds her husband Jack and their child is missing, she’s forced to turn to his ex-wife Jen for help - but can she really trust her?
Who is in the cast of The Ex-Wife?
The Ex-Wife stars Showtrial’s Céline Buckens as Tasha and Sleepy Hollow’s Tom Mison as Jack. Janet Montgomery, of New Amsterdam fame, stars as the meddling ex-wife. Bonus fact: the screenplay was written by Downton Abbey star Catherine Steadman.

When is The Ex-Wife released on Paramount+?
The Ex-Wife is set to be released by Paramount+ sometime in October, although an exact release date is set to be announced.
Is there a trailer for The Ex-Wife?
