You may have heard that a new set of Stranger Things books is currently in the works. Now, fans can also add a Stranger Things video game to the TV series' ever growing empire.
Telltale games (Minecraft Storymode, The Walking Dead: A New Frontier) tweeted about an exciting partnership with Netflix that will see the popular sci fi drama turned into a video game for both consoles and computers.

Telltale don't have many more details for fans at the moment but promised more information later in the year.
For context, the forthcoming Stranger Things behind the scenes book and prequel are set to drop in autumn 2018 and spring 2019, respectively, according to Deadline. There is a very good chance that Stranger Things related media may very well dominate late 2018 and much of 2019.
The California based video game developer has also partnered up with Netflix on an interesting venture for the platform. Netflix have confirmed that Telltale's Minecraft: Story Mode will be adapted into an "interactive narrative series" coming this autumn. Netflix already have some interactive titles on the platform, but none that have been adapted from video games.
The Netflix site describes its interactive content as "a fun new way to experience Netflix. In each interactive title, you can make choices for the characters, shaping the story as you go!"
There's no timeline for when the Stranger Things game will drop, but we're sure it will be worth the wait. Meanwhile, we're still eagerly waiting on the third series which is expected to premiere in 2019.
