How many seasons of Stranger Things will there be? Is Stranger Things 4 the last season? Will there be a Stranger Things 5? Noah Schnapp hopes so...
It might be a while away but anticipation for Stranger Things 4 is still at an all time high, and it doesn't seem to be dying down.
Production on Stranger Things 4 has just started, with main cast filming expected to start around late February/early March.
However, there's been speculation recently about whether or not season 4 will be the final season of the show. Last week, rumours began swirling that the next season would be split into two parts, with the second half becoming season 5. (Note: None of that is confirmed, by the way)

Addressing that speculation, Noah Schnapp – who plays our beloved Will Byers – spoke to TV host Lorraine Kelly about whether or not any of those rumours had truth to them. And judging by his response, it sounds like we're safe to assume that there will be at least one other season.
When asked whether or not season 4 would be the final season, Noah said that he's "sure there will be another [season] after this."
He continued: "I can't imagine this is the last. I feel like we would know if this was the last."
Of course, that's not an actual confirmation from Noah. He also stressed in the interview that he hasn't been told anything as all the details are, understandably, being kept under wraps.
If Netflix's usual announcements are anything to go by, it's unlikely that season 4 will be the last anyway. When announcing a final season, the streamer usually sign posts that detail in the press release, as it did with 13 Reasons Why and The Crown. The two Netflix shows were billed as the "fourth and final" and the "fifth and final" seasons, respectively.
According to TV Line, the latest news on season 4 is that it's reportedly been extended to nine episodes, which means it'll be one episode be longer than season 3.
There's no release date for Stranger Things 4 just yet but in the meantime, all of that sounds like great news to us!
