The new characters will join the rest of the cast you know and love
Last month, Netflix confirmed that Stranger Things had been renewed for a third season that would drop in late 2018 or 2019 and would be set in 1985. All of the cast are returning, including Steve (Joe Keery), who will get a bigger role after fans fell in love with “Dad Steve”.
It’ll be the third of probably four seasons of the beloved show, and will have 8 episodes in the season instead of 9, the same as season one. The second season ended with things looking pretty rosy in Hawkins with the Upside Down taken care of and Mike and Eleven’s romance blossoming, but it’s unlikely things will stay that way for long – there’s a new threat incoming.
Now, Netflix have announced the actors who will play two brand new characters.
Damn.
He’s the son of actor Gary Busey and has spent his whole life on film sets.
The addition of these characters will add some interesting, more human tension to the world of Hawkins – ignorant, potentially evil politicians and journalists to mess up the work that our heroes have been doing to keep the town safe.
