It looks like 14-year-old Millie has had to deactivated her account over that awful fake meme.
Stranger Things' Millie Bobby Brown appears to have deactivated her Twitter account after horrible fake memes about her have spread around the internet.
Stan Twitter created a disgusting fake "meme" in which homophobic comments were photoshopped onto pictures and videos of Millie. Back in November 2017, a hashtag also started being shared where people would make up fake stories about meeting her in person along with horrible photoshopped images. These tweets have since resurfaced - none of them are real.
Now, Millie has deleted her account, presumably because of the memes that are now being sent to her directly. Fans have flocked to support her and have slammed the Twitter users who have been sharing the photoshopped images.

Y’all aware that your “joke” about Millie bobby brown can be taken in many ways and it’s gotten to the point where she’s deleted her Twitter. I understand that it’s “just a joke,” but y’all need to learn when to stop because jokes can be so harmful sometimes

Twitter is real disgusting sometimes.
Instagram are now reportedly deleting the memes as they are uploaded to the platform and flagging them as violations to community guidelines. While some individual users have now deleted their tweets, Twitter are yet to remove the images from the platform.
Making fake homophobic and racist memes about a 14-year-old girl is not a "joke." It's hurtful, it's not funny and it could really damage someone's reputation. The thought of Millie, who is an active anti-bullying campaigner, or any 14-year-old kid seeing those tweets is heartbreaking.
Stop sharing them.
