Millie Bobby Brown Won't Be Attending The MTV Movie Awards And Here's Why

Millie has been forced to sit this red carpet out... because of a pretty nasty injury.
It's been a long harsh winter away from Hawkins, Indiana and just when you thought you were about to be blessed with all a full house of all your favourite Stranger Things children at the MTV Movie and TV awards tonight (June 18), we regret to inform you that two of the squad will be missing.
This year, the award show has been pre-recorded and the red carpet has already been and gone. Noah Schnapp, Gaten Matarazzo, Finn Wolfhard and Sadie Sink (along with Dacre Montgomery) all attended the awards and slayed the carpet but Millie Bobby Brown and Caleb McLaughlin sadly weren't in attendance.

While we're not sure why Caleb didn't hit the carpet with the gang, Millie's reason for not going is a pretty painful one: she's split her kneecap.
Millie took to Instagram to explain why she won't be there: "I have split my kneecap! So from the doctor's orders, he told me to rest up and that means that I won't be attending the MTV Awards this weekend. But I hope Gaten, Caleb, Finn, Sadie and Noah have THE best time and I love them so dearly so I wish you guys the best and I'm sending my luck with you and I'll be there in spirit."
Millie is nominated for two awards in this year's ceremony; Best Kiss (with Finn Wolfhard) and Best Actor in a Show. Stranger Things is also nominated for Show of the Year and Best Musical Moment alongside three other nominations for Dacre Mongomery, Finn Wolfhard and Noah Schnapp.
