She says she's "always saw them in love".
The relationship between Eleven and Mike is one of the key plot points to Stranger Things 3 (aside from the *slight issue* of the terrifying wrath of The Mind Flayer, of course).
The two start off the series as an official couple and the series features some of their first experiences in romance and young love.

But that hasn’t stopped some fans though suggesting that the pair’s relationship would have been more dynamic and interesting if they’d stayed just friends and that they would have preferred if the series hadn't focused so much on their relationship.

But in a recent interview, Millie Bobby Brown has defended her character and Mike’s relationship, saying that she "always saw them in love".
"It's so much fun, you know, it's really exciting," she explained. "Eleven is full of love and she's so excited for her new relationship with Mike. I think it's just relatable and you can totally see it happening in real life."
Eleven and Mike become girlfriend and boyfriend for real in the new season and are shown to be pretty much inseparable over the course of the summer, before all the mysterious events relating to the Upside Down kick off in Hawkins again. But this is much to the annoyance of Eleven’s dad Hopper, who adopted her after the end of Season 1, who starts to get pretty annoyed at the couple hanging out in his house and kissing (!) all the time.

Filming love scenes might seem like they would be pretty awkward, but speaking about what it was like to shoot scenes with her co-star Finn Wolfhard, who plays Mike, Millie said that she found the experience “really easy”.
"We were in a safe environment where we felt comfortable with each other," she explained. "It was really fun."
