The song features in Finn's upcoming horror film The Turning.
Stranger Things’ Finn Wolfhard announced his new band The Aubreys late last year and now the group has finally released their first proper single.
The song ‘Getting Better (Otherwise)’ is set to feature on the soundtrack for upcoming horror film The Turning, which also stars Finn in one of the lead roles.

It’s the first new music from Finn since his previous group Calpurnia disbanded last year and also comes along with a music video showing behind-the-scenes footage from making the song as well as clips from the film.
The Turning follows the story of a nanny (Mackenzie Davis) who is given the task of looking after two orphans, Miles (played by Finn) and Kate (Brooklynn Prince), who soon becomes convinced that the children are hiding dark secrets. It’s set to be released in cinemas on 24th January.
Speaking about making the film to Interview, Finn said: "It was a funny movie to shoot because I was really the only boy on set. The director, Floria Sigismondi, is an amazing woman."
"Mackenzie Davis, who plays our governess, couldn’t relate to me because I was a 15-year-old boy, and I couldn’t relate to her because she’s a grown woman. We also couldn’t relate to Brooklynn Prince, who plays my little sister, because she’s seven. We all got along well, but it was weirdly isolating."

As well as Finn’s song with The Aubreys, the soundtrack to the film also features tracks by Courtney Love, Mitski, Empress Of, Soccer Mommy and more.
Meanwhile, Finn is set to return to Stranger Things as Mike Wheeler in the fourth season of the show soon. Co-star Millie Bobby Brown confirmed during a recent Instagram Q&A that filming for the show starts filming “early this year”.
