Stranger Things star Caleb McLaughlin has a moustache now and I feel so old

Stranger Things fans assemble. Caleb McLaughlin is no longer that young boy we immediately started stanning in 2016. For the actor behind Lucas has now grown a moustache and a little bit of a beard...
Ever since Stranger Things first aired on Netflix in 2016, we've been massive Caleb McLaughlin fans. Not only is he a brilliant actor but Lucas is one of the most loved characters on the show. Whether he's solving the mysteries of The Upside Down or striking up a romance with Max, he's adorable and honestly, we want to adopt him.
Actors grow up though, and the internet is currently feeling very old because the Caleb McLaughlin we know and adore now has his very own moustache.
How old is Caleb McLaughlin? How old is Lucas in Stranger Things?
Yes. Caleb is becoming a man and recently in press outings for Stranger Things 3, he has been sporting a moustache. It may come as a surprise but the actor is now 17-years-old and he turns 18 this year (his birthday is October 13th 2001). When he first filmed for Stranger Things season 1 in 2015, Caleb was 13-years-old and he was playing a 12-year-old Lucas. Cut to season 3 and he's playing a 14-year-old Lucas but it was filmed in 2018 when he was 16-years-old.
In other words, it may seem like Caleb is a lot older than Lucas but, during filming, they've actually been pretty similar ages. And the moustache definitely makes him seem much more grown up but all it takes is a shave and Caleb's amazing acting skills to transform him back into Lucas. Obviously, fans are shook by his moustache (and beard?!!) though and they are taking to social media to react to it.

In all honesty, the entire cast have grown up but it's Caleb's moustache and facial hair that is making us feel particularly old.
