Calahan Skogman plays Matthias Helvar in Shadow and Bone. Calahan is an American actor, and Shadow and Bone is his very first major TV role. In fact, his audition for the show was his first major audition too. Prior to playing Matthias Helvar, Calahan appeared in a handful of short films after graduating from the University of Southern California with a master of fine arts degree in acting. [Netflix]
