Netflix need to make this happen now....
There's no question that To All the Boys I've Loved Before was one of the stand out films of 2018. From its brilliant cast (give Lana Condor and Noah Centineo all of the awards) to its heartwarming storyline (Peter K really is the high school sweetheart we wish we all had), everyone was obsessed with it. In fact, people loved the film so much that they pretty much demanded that Netflix make a sequel.
Now, all of our TATBILB dreams have finally come true. After months of rumours, Lana has confirmed that a To All the Boys I've Loved Before sequel is officially in the works in a hilarious video announcement with Noah. Understandably fans are all reeling with excitement and questions (has John Ambrose been recast?) but none more so than living legend Millie Bobby Brown.
Taking to Instagram, Millie filmed herself reacting: "Oh my God. I just found out something. My life is gonna change forever I was scrolling on Instagram like another casual day and I'm scrolling by and I see this video and I don't know if I should look at it or not. Well I watched it and she told me something. She said there's going to be a To All the Boys sequel and I'm gonna cry."
Amazing. That's not all though. Millie also revealed that she wants to be in the next film and we need this to happen. Millie went on to say: "I wanna thank Netflix. I wanna thank Noah Centineo. I wanna thank Lana Condor. I wanna cry. I love you guys so so much. If I can be an extra please hit me up Netflix. You know I do work for you already." Can you imagine?
And Millie's not the only one campaigning to get herself in the film. Anna Cathcart (Kitty) reposted Millie's story writing: "Come on, @Netflix, can we please make this happen? An iconic @milliebobbybrown cameo? I think yes." So the cast approves and we approve; this needs to happen.
Millie could maybe play one of Kitty's close friends at school or maybe Trina Rothschild (this is for the book readers out there) could have a daughter in the sequel? If not, a cameo would be iconic nevertheless. Netflix, what's good?
