When does Riverdale season 3, episode 22 air? Here's everything we know so far about what happens in the Riverdale season 3 finale...
It's about that time! There's only ONE episode of Riverdale season 3 left and it's all getting a bit much. People are in danger and no one is safe, but then again, isn't that every episode of Riverdale?
We are still in the midst of the sinister Farm storyline at the hands of Edgar and Evelyn Evernever featuring Cheryl, Alice, Kevin, Fangs, Toni (who has just managed to escape) and now Betty. Following the departure of Gladys Jones, the drug trade will have hopefully subsided, but the Gargoyle King has returned. Hiram Lodge is now in jail, the Black Hood has returned and um, Jason Blossom might be alive...
Riverdale season 4: news, spoilers, release date, cast, trailers and everything you need to know
But what lies ahead in 3x22, the final episode? As always, the cast have been sharing behind-the-scenes pics and videos (read: spoilers) from the set that could clue us in to what's about to go down.
Here's everything we know about the Riverdale season 3 finale so far...

What time is the Riverdale season 3 finale on?

Where can I watch the Riverdale season 3 finale?
You can watch the Riverdale finale live on The CW or on the The CW app.
If you're in the UK, you can watch it on Netflix just a couple of hours after each episode premieres in the US. New episodes usually drop at 8am GMT.
What will happen in the Riverdale season 3 finale episode?
The official synopsis for the episode reads: "THE FINAL QUEST — After receiving mysterious invitations, Archie, Betty, Veronica and Jughead band together to confront the evils of their past once and for all. Meanwhile, chaos ensues at The Farm after Edgar makes a chilling announcement."
Seeing as there’s still a few more episodes to go until the season finale, a lot could change. And a lot will change but the two main storylines for the finale appear to be...
1) The Gargoyle King mystery: As of episode 19, it becomes clear that there is another Gargoyle King. In episode 21, Ethel tells Jughead that Jason Blossom is the Gargoyle King, which is of course impossible... because he's been dead this whole time. (More on that here.) In the final episode, the core four end up in a final showdown with the Gargoyle King but who is he? (It could be Chic...)
2) The Farm's "chilling" announcement: Alice, Cheryl, Kevin and Fangs - along with other characters like Principal Weatherbee and Midge’s mum - have all been sucked in to the Farm. Toni has now escaped from The Farm with Cheryl's help and Betty is also leading an escape plan. But what could Edgar's chilling announcement be? In the trailer, he mentions that it's time to "ascend" so does that mean... Mass kool aid drinking? IT BETTER NOT BE!
Here's all the behind-the-scenes pictures from the cast:
Mädchen Amick's Instagram posts and stories from the final days on set indicate that The Farm is still well and truly on its bullshit. The group were filming at Farm HQ (the old Sisters of Quiet Mercy building) and the pictures seem to confirm that Alice, Cheryl, Kevin and Fangs are still at the Farm with Evelyn and Edgar.
Madelaine Petsch has also featured in a bunch of behind-the-scenes pictures posted by Vanessa Morgan. She's still wearing the same blue sweater and red trouser combo and in one particular shot, her trousers are incredibly muddy. WE GOING ✈️ FARM ESCAPE!?
If you look closely at the first picture, you'll also notice Toni wearing gloves similar to Cheryl's archery gloves... and a bunch of arrows in the back of the truck.

Madelaine is also wearing this same blue sweater in episode 21, which means the penultimate episode will likely roll over into episode 22. In episode 21, the Farm crew can be seen at a function at Farm HQ.
cheryl's wearing that turtleneck in 3x19 and until the finale,,,,and her pants are dirty in the finale and toni has her arrows with her - what if they actually kidnap her ???? pic.twitter.com/dp4K7JgXyP

Even more evidence that seems to back the farm escape conspiracy theory is the fact that the Pretty Poisons and the Serpents have been out in the woods together. Uniting to save both Fangs and Cheryl (and Alice and Kevin by extention) from the Farm? I WOULD LIKE TO SEE IT!
In Madelaine's 'Last Day of Riverdale season 3' vlog, she can be seen filming at Thistlehouse (3m48s) with Vanessa Morgan, Barbara Wallace (Nana Rose) and Bernadette Beck, who plays Peaches n' Cream (4m 30).
She also says that they did a lot of filming with the babies for the final episode (2m28s), suggesting that Polly's twins make an appearance in the finale. In an Instagram story with Mädchen, it also seems like Alice has a few scenes with the twins too.
Seeing as Penelope currently has Dagwood, and Juniper is still at the Farm with Polly... who knows what's going on here. Either way, legends Juniper and Dagwood are back.

In other news, the core four look like they're set to be reunited. KJ Apa shared this picture of the gang - with Lili Reinhart wearing a suspiciously similar outfit to the one Betty was wearing the very first episode of the season.
Fans have speculated that the show could be doing a flashback or revealing that it was all a fever dream BUT, on closer inspection, it's definitely not the same. 3x01 was a denim dress with thin straps and in this pic, you can clearly see the dungaree clips. Theory: Debunked?!
The cast also appear to be shooting quite a few night scenes for the finale episode. And you know what that means... TERRIBLE LIGHTING.
Anyway, Camila Mendes shared a picture of KJ Apa dressed up in a suit on her Instagram story. KJ has also shared pics of him in the same outfit with considerably wetter hair. Don't know what's going on here but... there's two pictures of KJ so don't complain.
Lochlyn Munro, who plays serial killer, world's worst dad and terrible terrible husband Hal Cooper, is also set to return by the looks of things.
In episode 19, it was revealed that the bus tranferring him to Hiram Lodge's prison had crashed and there were allegedly no survivors. Looks like that was a LIE. Shared in a video by KJ Apa, Lochlyn was pictured in casual clothing which means... he's totally out of jail.
Riverdale's resident brothel madam Penelope Blossom will also feature in the finale episode. On April 10th, Nathalie Boltt and Vanessa Morgan were filming scenes together... but why? To discuss Cheryl's whereabouts, perhaps? Who knows? But whatever the convo between Penelope and Toni is about... I'm already scared.
In case you're wondering, FP Jones is still Sheriff and still looking like a SNACC in the finale episode too. You'll be thrilled to know that it looks like his role in the robbery of Pop's during Jellybean's kidnap hasn't affected his job.
AMEN! THANK GOD! MORE UNIFORM! YES!
