Riverdale's 'Heathers' cast list has already been revealed and now we've got our first look at everyone in action in the trailer for 3x16.
At long last, the musical episode of Riverdale season 3 is here, the extended promo trailer has dropped and by the looks of things, it's going to be even more bonkers than season 2's Carrie the musical. (RIP Midge!)
The next episode of Riverdale, titled 'Big Fun', will air on Wednesday 20th March and will see the students of Riverdale High take on Heathers the musical, based on the 1989 movie starring Winona Ryder and Christian Slater. (Find the full cast list here.)
Josie and Sweet Pea will be taking on the main roles of Veronica Sawyer and JD with Betty and Veronica will play Heather Duke and Heather McNamara with Cheryl as HBIC Heather Chandler. Elsewhere in the episode, according to the synopsis: Veronica learns some devastating news about her family, and Archie and Josie make a decision about their future. Jughead also makes a surprising move against Gladys. DRAMA! SINGING! SCAMMING! CULTS! KJ APA'S DANCING! MOM?!
According to IMDb, this is also said to be the episode where we finally get to meet the elusive Farm leader Edgar Evernever, played by Chad Michael Murray. But we'll believe that when we see it...

With new Farmie Kevin and child of the corn Evelyn at the helm, you already know this is not going to end well. Kevin mentions how Heathers deals with "teen alienation and desperation," which sounds like the perfect criteria for new, young, unsuspecting cult recruits, doesn't it? Who's gonna be the first to cave?
