Sarah Paulson's girlfriend Holland Taylor slid into her DMs to ask for a date

Sarah Paulson, 44, has just revealed how she met her girlfriend Holland Taylor, 76, and surprisingly, it was all thanks to Twitter. The couple, who have been dating since 2015, are notoriously private and have been criticised because of their 32-year age-gap.
However, when the "Bird Box" actress spoke to Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live alongside her American Horror Story co-star Billy Eichner, she couldn't help but blab about the intimate details of their four-year relationship, including how Holland shoot her shot.
"We were doing a thing at Martha Plimpton's house. It was for an organisation that she was working with and we were both doing a little PSA for it," she explained. "We sort of breezed by each other and then started following each other on Twitter… and then…"
"So Holland Taylor slid into your DMs?" Billy asked. Sarah chuckled, and replied: "She actually did! It's pretty great." Ugh! Why doesn't a legendary actress ever slid into our DMs?!
The couple eventually set up a dinner date and have been together ever since. However, Holland and Sarah had actually known each other for years before they fell for each other.
Both like to keep a low profile, but are constantly batting off questions about their age gap. Luckily, Sarah has the best response for anyone doubting their love simply because of their differences.
"I have the good fortune of being with someone who is older and wiser than I am," she told The Guardian back in 2016. "People look at me and Holland and say, 'Mommy issues', but I parent her as much as she parents me, so that’s not it."
