Naomi Smalls and Valentina inspired the iconic Club 96 meme...
RuPaul's Drag Race never fails to entertain us. Over the course of 10 incredible seasons and four amazing All-Stars spinoffs, the iconic Reality TV competition has blessed us with some of the funniest and most moving on screen moments of all time. From hilarious gags about tucking to important conversations about race, there is no show quite like it. Not to mention, it's also introduced us to over 100 drag queens.
RuPaul's Drag Race: Meet the season 11 queens and follow them on social media
All-Stars 4 is currently on air and it's already shaping up to be one of the most memorable seasons in Drag Race herstory. In the space of just seven episodes, we've seen everything from Trinity the Tuck impersonating Caitlyn Jenner to Manila Luzon roasting Lady Bunny. However, it's Club 96 that is quickly establishing itself as the standout moment of AS4 and it's now a hilarious, international meme.
Club 96, for those of you who don't know, is a club invented by Naomi Smalls and Valentina. Club 96 was formed as part of a challenge in which the Drag Race queens had to create and host their own club nights. Club 96 was an exclusive club for the fashion forward. It lost the challenge but Naomi and Valentina repeatedly whispering 'Club 96' was so iconic that fans turned it into a meme.
In it fans simply take photos of famous people whispering to each other and caption it 'Club 96'. That or they come up with something completely new and funny inspired by the club. Confused? Watch the video above to see Naomi and Valentina live in action and check out the memes below to understand the true essence of Club 96. Are you on the list?
