RuPaul may be headed to daytime on top of his numerous projects.
Fans of RuPaul's Drag Race, rejoice! RuPaul may be headed to daytime television and adding yet another jewel to his TV crown.
Variety is reporting that the Drag Race host is working on a daytime talk show that could feature interviews with celebrity guests, games, beauty tips, and even a spot for his right hand woman, Michelle Visage.
A pilot episode is reportedly being filmed and, if all goes well, fans could see RuPaul in a daytime slot by fall 2019, according to Variety's exclusive report. The show would be filmed in front of a live audience.
The drag icon has two Primetime Emmy awards for hosting, meaning his icon status will likely draw big viewing figures even in a competitive daytime slot.
RuPaul does not appear to be slowing down anytime soon. The star is also working on a new Netflix comedy called AJ and The Queen. Hulu is also behind a JJ Abrams produced fictionalised drama about RuPaul's rise to fame in the 80s. RuPaul will executive produce that show as well.
Season 10 of RuPaul's Drag Race has recently wrapped and we're sure Ru is hard at work crafting the next season of the iconic drag competition.
With all these projects in the pipeline, all we can say is WE ARE READY FOR THE COMPLETE RUPAUL TAKE OVER.
