Love Island’s Megan Barton-Hanson Might Be Joining The Cast Of The Only Way Is Essex

It looks like Megan has her next reality TV appearance in the bag.

Megan Barton-Hanson was without doubt one of the most memorable characters from this year’s Love Island, and it looks like we won’t have to wait too long to see her back on our screens… as a cast member of TOWIE!

According to tabloid sources, Megan impressed bosses of The Only Way Is Essex so much that they’re eyeing her up to get involved in the series as she already has ties to the cast.

A source revealed, “TOWIE is one of the most popular shows on TV and bosses are always on the lookout for fresh talent.

“Megan is a really big character and would fit in well. But bosses don't just pick names and drop them into the mix. They need to have a storyline and established friendships within the group.”

Lucky for Megan, she lives in Southend and is good friends with exist cast members Clelia Theodorou and Pete Wicks’ girlfriend Shelby Tribble, which could be how a storyline for her emerges.

TOWIE will be returning in September for the next series so fans will have to wait and see whether or not Megan actually makes the cut.
