Sparks flew for Lara Jean and Peter in this scene.
Lara Jean and Peter's love story in To All The Boys I've Loved Before was an adorable sight to behold. The pair had chemistry from the start, even when Peter was pretending he didn't want to date Lara Jean.
Peter didn't reveal that he was "IN love" Lara Jean until the very end of the film, but Noah Centineo reckons he knows exactly when his character fell for our protagonist.
In an interview with The Wrap, Noah revealed WHEN he thinks Peter properly fell for Lara Jean and it's probably not when you thought he did.
Noah explains that, while Peter K was interested in Lara Jean from jump, his character didn't fall for her until their heart to heart in the kitchen after she comes to his house for dinner.
"I think he really, really realises that this is the girl for him in the kitchen scene when they're at Peter's house when they're kind of just opening up about their family histories to each other."
This makes a ton of sense, actually. Getting to know the deeper side of someone can definitely lead to catching feelings.
In this scene, Lara Jean talks about her mom a little bit as well as her sister. Peter also opens up about his dad leaving his family to start a new one. The two get close and we really see how easy it is for the characters to open up to one another.
Our second guess about when they started to feel FEELINGS for one another would have probably been the diner scene after the party. Though very early in the story, Lara Jean is surprisingly open with Peter and he hangs on her every word.
Anyways, the more you know!
