Amazon Prime's new teen drama series is jam packed full of familiar faces, as well as some new ones... Here's where you've seen them on screen before.
Based on the novel of the same name, Amazon Prime's Panic is already leaving viewers desperate for more. The new teen series follows a group of students from a fictional town called Carp, as they compete for the $50,000 grand prize in a deadly game called Panic. The cast is full of rising stars and familiar faces... Get to know the actors here and find out where you've seen them before.
Olivia Welch plays Heather Nill in Amazon Prime’s Panic. Heather is an 18-year-old student who decides to compete in Panic in order to pay for college. Fans of Modern Family will recognise Olivia as she appeared as Olive, Manny's crush, in two episodes back in 2015 and 2016. Olivia also played Amelia in Unbelievable opposite Kaitlyn Dever. Olivia is also set to appear in Netflix’s Fear Street trilogy.
Jessica Sula plays Natalie Williams in Amazon Prime’s Panic. Natalie is Heather’s best friend who also competes in the Panic game with her. British actress Jessica is best known in the UK for her role as Grace Violet in Skins. She also played Scarlett in Love & Marriage, Maddie in Recovery Road and most notably, Olivia in Scream: The TV Series. Jessica also played Marcia in 2016’s Split opposite James McAvoy.
Ray Nicholson plays Ray Hall in Amazon Prime’s Panic. Ray is another Panic player, who often taunts other players. Ray Nicholson is best known for his roles as Hallorann in Mayans M.C. and as Jim in 2020’s Promising Young Woman. And yes, his father is the icon himself, Jack Nicholson.
Camron Jones plays Bishop Marks in Amazon Prime’s Panic. Bishop is another one of Heather’s best friends. Camron’s TV credits include Grown-ish (as Corey), Shameless (as Damario) and The Purge, in which he played Zane in two episodes.
Mike Faist plays Dodge Mason in Amazon Prime’s Panic. Dodge is another Panic player who is set on avenging his sister’s tragic death. Tony nominated actor Mike Faist is most well known on Broadway for originating the role of Connor Murphy in Dear Evan Hansen. He’s set to star as Riff, the leader of the Jets, in 2021’s West Side Story remake.
David Thompson plays Diggins in Amazon Prime’s Panic. Diggins is the host of Panic, and introduces each of the players as they step up to the next round. Fans of the Gotham TV series will recognise the actor as Jonathan Crane/Scarecrow. David also played Gecko in Amazon Prime’s The Boys. He’s set to appear next in Netflix’s Fear Street trilogy.
Jordan Elsass plays Tyler Young in Amazon Prime’s Panic. Tyler is a friend of Ray Hall’s. Jordan’s on screen credits include a number of TV shows, including Amazon Prime’s Little Fires Everywhere, where he played Trip Richardson. He also plays Jonathan Kent in The CW’s Superman & Lois series.
Bryce Cass plays Adam Lyons in Amazon Prime’s Panic. Adam is a friend of Ray Hall’s. Bryce is no stranger to a dramatic teen drama as he previously appeared on 13 Reasons Why as Cyrus. Prior to Panic, 13 Reasons Why was his most notable role to date.
Enrique Murciano plays Sheriff Cortez in Amazon Prime’s Panic. Sheriff Cortez is trying to stop the game of Panic spreading after it caused the death of his son. Enrique is most well known for his roles on Without A Trace, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Power, The Blacklist, Bloodline and most recently, Amazon Prime’s Tell Me Your Secrets. One of Enrique’s first major on-screen roles was Jeff Foreman in Miss Congeniality 2.
Moira Kelly plays Melanie Cortez in Amazon Prime’s Panic. Melanie is married to Sheriff Cortez, and is the mother of Jimmy Cortez who died playing Panic. If you’re a fan of One Tree Hill, you’ll instantly recognise Moira Kelly as teen drama parent royalty, as she played Karen, Lucas Scott’s mother. Moira also previously played Mandy Hampton on The West Wing and recently appeared as Annie Diamonte in The Resident.
Rachel Bay Jones plays Heather’s mum Sherri Nill in Amazon Prime’s Panic. Sherri is the reason why Heather decides to take part in Panic, after she uses her college fund on her car. Much like co-star Mike Faist, Rachel is also well known on Broadway for her role in Dear Evan Hansen, as Evan’s mother Heidi. On TV, she’s most well known for her appearances in Grey’s Anatomy, Modern Family and God Friended Me.
