When does On My Block come back for season 2? Netflix just announced On My Block's premiere date and fans don't have to wait long to find out what happens to Ruby and Olivia.

Netflix's On My Block premiered last March and ended on a huge cliffhanger. Are Ruby and Olivia alive? The series was picked up for season 2 in April 2018 and is now confirmed to return to Netflix on March 29, 2019.

On My Block follows the story of a group of teens living in an inner city neighbourhood and handling the trials and tribulations of adolescence and young love. The show was a surprise hit with fans and Netflix even ranked it number one its "shows we fell in binge with" list at the end of last year.

Now, On My Block returns on March 29, 2019 and fans are eager to pick up where the show left off.

Several members of the On My Block cast shared their excitement over the announcement on social media.

Fans are looking forward to finding out the outcome of the Ruby and Olivia cliffhanger.

Does Ruby survive? Will Olivia be back for season 2? At the end of On My Block season one, Ruby and Olivia were shot by a gang member while attending her Quinceañera. The end of season one left the fate of these two characters up in the air.

In the trailer for On My Block season 2, it appears that Ruby might be the one who survives, though this is not made explicitly clear.

The other major plot to explore in season two is, of course, the Rollerworld fortune that Jamal pursued all of season one. What will become of all that cash we saw him riding away with in the season one finale?
