Noah Centineo Was In Another Netflix Rom-Com Last Year And The Internet Is Dragging it

Even Noah doesn't seem to be too proud of this one...
It's crazy to think that just over a month ago, most people had no idea who Noah Centineo is. The 22-year-old star may have impressed audiences in early Disney roles and as Jesus on The Fosters but it wasn't until this summer that he really became a household name. And it's all thanks to two Netflix rom-coms: first he played Peter in To All the Boys I've Loved Before and then he starred as Jamey in Sierra Burgess Is a Loser.
Both parts are adorable and won over the hearts of viewers worldwide. They literally are the perfect on-screen love interests and it turns out that Noah is just as charming as they are so it's no wonder that people are falling in love with him. However, these films aren't the first time that Noah's starred as the romantic lead in a teen drama. Fans have noticed that Noah was the heartthrob in SPF-18 but the reception was less positive.
Yes. This isn't Noah's first time at the rom-com rodeo. Last year Netflix released SPF-18. The film is about a teenager (Penny Cooper) who gets caught up in a love triangle with the boy she's fancied for years (Johnny Sanders Jr.) and a country singer (Ash Baker). Noah plays Johnny and it stars Molly Ringwald as Penny's Mum and Goldie Hawn as a narrator. There's even cameos by Pamela Anderson and Keanu Reeves.
However, in spite of its brilliant cast, it's being dragged on Twitter. Some are criticising the script, others are confused by the plot and a lot of people are perplexed as to how Keanu fits in. With that in mind, we've gathered some of the best reactions to the movie for you to enjoy all in one place. Here are just a few of them.
Some are questioning every aspect of it.
I have so many questions about SPF-18.

-Why is it called SPF-18?
-Who is the disembodied narrator info-dumping all over the place?
-Did Keanu Reeves agree to be associated with this movie, or did he think he was just taking a photo with a random fan? pic.twitter.com/gW4PxXesRX

We need answers to all of these now.
Others are just annoyed by it all.

Make it make sense.
One or two people are keeping it real as to why they actually watched the film.
Oh god I just watched SPF-18 for Noah Centineo

Us too tbh.
A few fans are even rating it in comparison to Noah's other work.
SPF 18 is by far Noah Centineo’s worst movie

This is justified.
Then are those who are finding the positives in it.

We see no lies.
Ultimately though even Noah has lowkey admitted that the film is a mess.
.
We love a shady favourite.
To be fair to Noah, every actor stars in the odd bad film and no-one is criticising him in it. Also SBIAL has had its fair share of criticism too. Still, all things considered, it kind of makes sense now that it was TATBILB that made people notice Noah and not SPF-18.
