Noah Centineo's 'Sierra Burgess' Character Needs A Last Name And You Can Choose It

Might we suggest...Kavinsky?
Netflix's Sierra Burgess Is A Loser is officially on its way. We'd be willing to bet that fans will be seeing some amazing chemistry between Shannon Purser and Noah Centineo.
Our protagonist, Sierra Burgess, has her full name in the title of the film. Interestingly enough, her love interest, Jamey, doesn't even have a last name at all. That's where fans come in.
Sierra Burgess Is A Loser's screenwriter, Lindsey Beer, might be letting fans give Noah Centineo's character a surname.
It all started when someone wanted to know Jamey's last name for a fan page they were thinking of creating. Lindsey Beer revealed that she hadn't given Jamey a last name. Lindsey then offered the opportunity for fans to choose a last name for the character if and when Netflix gave the film a sequel.
I never gave Jamey a last name! But if fans vote on a last name, we will use the top voted name in the sequel if @netflix gives us one! Step one: vote. Step 2: harass @netflix for a sequel! @noahcent @NoahCentUpdates @blacklabelmedia https://t.co/69qUEQqpne

Shannon Purser backed the challenge up by tweeting that, after the film came out, fans would be able to vote on Jamey's last name. That makes sense since we will all know more about the character once we've officially met him.

The suggestions immediately started flowing in. Fans offered up everything from Jamey Sinclaire to Jamey Kavinsky. We're doubtful that Kavinsky is actually on the cards, though we would love a world where Lara Jean Covey and Sierra Burgess were part of the same universe.
