Rumours about Stranger Things star Millie playing the role of Piper in The Eternals have been circling for a while, and now Marvel president Kevin Feige has addressed them.
Millie Bobby Brown. Stranger Things legend. Big screen star in the making. Soon-to-be Marvel Cinematic Universe cast member??! Yep, rumours have been circulating that Millie could soon join the cast of the upcoming MCU movie The Eternals, adding another huge franchise to her acting roster.
But who are The Eternals and what character would Millie be playing? Well, like Guardians of the Galaxy, they're another outer-space superhero team. They're a society of aliens who have abilities that they use to fight their enemies, the Deviants. Millie has been linked to the character of Piper (a new take on the existing Sprite), a psychic who is permanently trapped in a child's body.

Speaking at a Spider-Man: Far From Home event, Marvel president Kevin Feige has now addressed those rumours about Millie (and actor Donnie Yen, who is rumoured to be part of the upcoming Shang-Chi movie) joining the Marvel roster for Phase 4.
"Both good actors that would be fun to see in the MCU," he said. "But nothing specific, or nothing to talk about. We're still, as I've said for the better part of a year or two, we're waiting for Endgame and Far from Home to come out before we talk about what's next, officially. We're almost there." Other actors rumoured to be part of the film include Angelina Jolie, Kumail Nanjiani, Richard Madden and Keanu Reeves.
More details about the next Marvel phase are set to be released either at San Diego Comic Con in July, or at Disney's D23 expo in August. As Feige explained, they're planning on letting Avengers: Endgame and Spider-Man: Far From Home wrap up first before diving into any new information.

Over the next year, Millie will likely be spending a considerable amount of time filming Stranger Things 4 (if it gets renewed, which is almost a dead cert tbh) and Godzilla vs. King Kong, the follow up to Godzilla: King of the Monsters.
According to various reports and provisional Marvel release dates, the general consensus is that The Eternals will be released at some point in 2020. Will Millie even have enough time her schedule to appear in the film? We guess we'll find out soon...
