The latest Game of Thrones meme breaking the internet is based on Brienne writing...
Game of Thrones memes never ceases to entertain us and the Brienne writing meme may be the funniest one yet.
Who sits on the Iron Throne? Game of Thrones fans hate the season 8 ending
It's official. Game of Thrones is over. The season 8 finale aired last night and put an end to the popular series. Some fans are sad, others are relieved and then there are those who are disappointed that their weekly dose of Game of Thrones memes is coming to an end. This season alone we've had Arya memes, Cersei memes, Daenerys memes and so much more. None of them are funnier, though, than the memes inspired by Brienne of Tarth writing about Jaime in the season 8 finale.
What did Brienne write about Jaime in the Game of Thrones finale?
Towards the end of the finale, once Bran is (for some reason) chosen by the living leaders of Westeros to become the ruler of the six (Sansa was having none of it) kingdoms, we get a very memorable Brienne of Tarth scene. In it, we see Brienne going through each of the annals of the Kingsguard. Here she chooses to finish writing Jaime's record and, after documenting all of the things he did since it was last updated, she writes: "Died protecting his Queen", with tears in her eyes.
It's a moving moment but, given the fact that we've never seen Brienne writing before, it also has a very noticeable touch of the Sex and the City to it and viewers couldn't help but turn it into a meme. Some of the memes make Brienne the Game of Thrones equivalent of Carrie Bradshaw. Others align it with other iconic pop culture moments. Pretty much all of them are hilarious though and we've gathered the best ones for you here.
First of all this what Brienne wrote that we didn't see.

Let it out honey, put it in the book.
She also included this important footnote.

Perhaps this is more accurate.
And then I wondered... what’s the use of being a knight if you don’t have a man to make your bed go bump in the night? pic.twitter.com/CCinhU77X1

Do you think these exist in Westeros?

If we're not getting Sex and the City of King's Landing, we better be getting King's Landing Shore.
Props to the Martha Stewart of Westeros.
