Love Island's Olivia Buckland has revealed she asked Cara De La Hoyde to stand down from bridesmaid duties after she found the pressure of being a mum and keeping up her wedding duties too much pressure, but she insists they're still good friends...
Love Island's Olivia Buckland has revealed she dropped Cara De La Hoyde as her bridesmaid as she simply 'couldn't handle the pressure' of keeping up with bridesmaid duties in a move that's got us wondering just how much planning is going into this wedding?!
Speaking to new! magazine, the bride-to-be revealed that she asked her fellow islander to be bridesmaid before she had a child to look after, saying:
"Cara’s got [son] Freddie now and when I asked her [to be a bridesmaid] she was a lot less busy and I thought she could handle the pressure."
However, she reassured there were no problems between the pair amid rumours of a fued, saying they're BFF's who can be open with one another:
"We both don’t need that label. You don’t have to be a bridesmaid to know that we are good friends. We're very honest with each other."
Both are engaged to marry their Love Island partners, and Cara has a son, Freddie, with her fiancé Nathan Massey (who recently proposed to her inside the Love Island villa btw) and we think it's super cute they decided they're BFF's and don't need bridesmaid status to prove it!
