She and her partner from the show, Paul Knops, have just split up but Laura insists their relationship was real.

Laura was rejected by Wes Nelson and Jack Fowler during her time on the show, but took to Instagram stories to hit back at claims that all the relationships on the show were in fact fake in order for the contestants to use it to become famous.
Laura posted, “"#justathought Love Island relationships are REAL as far as I'm concerned. Be a little bit more KIND people”.
It’s just a few days after she and Paul announced they were parting ways, with her telling OK, “When we came out of the villa there was a lot of work related things we did together and then Paul went away for three weeks.
"He went to the Burning Man festival in America and he couldn’t get phone signal for a week. I was absolutely fine with that. I trusted him not to do things with other girls, which he didn’t.
"I was hoping that when he came back we’d spend more time together and build a proper relationship out of the villa. It didn’t happen.”
