The 29-year-old spoke to 'OK! Magazine' and explained it was the distance between the pair that caused the break-up, saying: "When we came out of the villa there was a lot of work related things we did together and then Paul went away for three weeks.
"I was hoping that when he came back we’d spend more time together and build a proper relationship out of the villa. It didn’t happen.”
Laura also admitted she didn't want to see what her model ex is up to now they've split so unfollowed him on social media, which we think is a pretty mature move TBH, even if she does have to low key stalk on the sly now, not that we do that or anything...
She did clear up that there was no foul play that went down: "I trusted him not to do things with other girls, which he didn’t."
The news of their split came just before it was announced fellow islanders Laura Crane and Jack Fowler also called it quits, along with Samira and Frankie who were the first pair from the 2018 series to break-up.
