'Love Island' Fans Are OUTRAGED After Dani Was Shown A Misleading Video Of Jack

This is not on...
Anyone who's been watching Love Island this season can tell you that Dani Dyer and Jack Fincham are the standout couple of the competition so far. Ever since the first episode, the two contestants have been inseparable. Not only do they have an adorable, genuine chemistry but just last week they officially became boyfriend and girlfriend on the show. We adore them.

However, things have taken a bit of a darker turn on the hit programme recently. Love Island has separated its boys and girls into different villas and thrown new contestants into the mix to spice things up. The boys are now all in Casa Amor with six new girls and the girls are in the villa with six new boys. They've even added one of Jack's exes to the show (Ellie).
In spite of this, Jack has not strayed from Dani at all. He has even slept outside instead of sharing a bed with one of the new girls like the other boys have done. Our hearts! Nevertheless, Love Island has tricked Dani into thinking that something may have happened. They've sent the girls in the villa a video of the boys in Casa Amor, including a snippet of Jack reacting to seeing his ex in the villa for the first time.
The Girls Are Shook by Footage From Casa Amor | Love Island 2018
Essentially, instead of reassuring Dani that Jack has shown no interest in any of the new girls in the villa, they've tricked her into believing that he may have cheated on her. Unsurprisingly, the internet is not having it.
There is a lot of anger towards the show's producers.
Right, every single one of the #loveisland producers need to square the fuck up right now. Let’s fuckin av em @MrDDyer

We would highkey appreciate it, if Danny Dyer gets involved.
Jack literally said in the same episode that he LOVES Dani and then ITV2 does this.
SHOW HER THE VIDEO OF HIM SAYING HE LOVES HER NOW BEFORE I SMASH UP MY FLAT MEET ME OUTSIDE @ITV2

Why are you messing with true love like this?
Some people are pissed because this is just cruel.
i started watching #loveisland for bants not for emotional warfare and cruelty. why do that to dani? pic.twitter.com/hp6S4IMo62

It is not fun to watch people break a girl's heart on television.
Others are really angry that they've tricked Dani and not shown Georgia the footage of Josh pursuing things with Kazimir.
Making good girls cry for the sake of ratings and drama on the show. It’s a shame. Could have shown josh snogging face instead of winding danni up when jack has been saying he’s fallen In love with her. Why didn’t you show her that????? 😔😔😔 https://t.co/JyfeDB6nib

Dani and Jack are human beings not Sims and it's unfair that Georgia doesn't even know what's going on in her relationship.
Can we not just enjoy a heartwarming love story in peace?
Kem played away in Casa Amor last year so it was legit to send Amber that postcard last year. But Jack has gone above and beyond to respect Dani and I think it’s really muggy of the producers to even hint otherwise. #LoveIsland pic.twitter.com/m670mwKG2T

All we need is love.
A lot of people just wanted to offer Dani their love and support.

She is an angel and she does not deserve this.
And perhaps most important of all.
Love Island producers sending Dani that video is literally like when Romeo thought Juliet had died but was acc sleeping #loveisland

Facts are facts.
Fingers crossed that ITV2 reconsiders how it governs things like this in future. Last night's episode was the series' most viewed to date but it also received more complaints than any other episode of this season so far.
As I understand it, the complaints that Love Island received last night by Ofcom were the most for any episode this season. It was also the highest viewers the show has had (and for ITV2, a new record)
