People have started petitioning for the reality show to be axed.
Love Island is set to return to our screens on June 3, but some people believe the entire show should be cancelled.

Every year a number of singletons are flown to the Love Island villa for a summer of love. It's one of ITV's most watched programmes and has kickstarted the careers of a number of reality TV stars.
However with another ITV programme, The Jeremy Kyle Show, being cancelled over the death of a guest, viewers believe Love Island should not return this year following the deaths of two Love Island contestants last year.
Has Love Island been cancelled?
At the moment, Love Island will be returning as planned next month.
However, ITV recently confirmed The Jeremy Kyle show had been axed after 14 years on air, after a guest took his own life. Steve Dymond was found dead in his bedroom just days after his appearance on the show for a lie detector test.
Love Island also has a lie detector segment and it's one of the most popular episodes on the show. Each year, the contestants are wired up to a polygraph and answer questions created by the person they are coupled up with.
It always causes some serious drama between the couples, but given what has happened on The Jeremy Kyle Show following lie detector results, viewers believe mental health should ultimately come before entertainment.
According to a TV source, The Sun reports that producers of the show are "keen to avoid any further issues".
"The lie detector episode is everyoneās favourite but it does cause some serious arguments between couples," they revealed. "Some viewers are calling for the show to be axed so it looks likely they'll get rid of the lie detector to keep people happy."
Another reason people are calling for Love Island's removal from the TV schedule is because of the deaths of Mike Thalassitis and Sophie Gradon. Both took their lives after taking part in the show, yet it remains on air.
People now believe that Love Island should be axed ā just like The Jeremy Kyle Show. There are even petitions to stop the reality show being broadcast.
Jeremy Kyle Show has been taken off air after one death in 14 years. In 3 weeks #LoveIsland comes back on air after 2 deaths in just 4 seasons. Both shows are on ITV but it seems treated differently, probably as one makes far more cash for the station than the other.

So two people commit suicide following their time on #LoveIsland with ITV and it continues but the #jeremykyleshow is suspended straight away after one suicide by ITV? Not defending the JK show but it makes no sense? Guess the #Loveisland viewings means more to them than JK??? KD
